Quick Company/Shipping Update

Hi Everyone! Quick company update before we get into shipping.

Our company is based out of Dallas, Texas. As you may be aware, Dallas, most of Texas and Oklahoma are in a state of emergency due to the record breaking low temperatures and heavy snow fall. We have been experiencing rolling blackouts in our area, which means we are without power/electricity/wifi for hours at a time. With that being said, these blackouts may cause a delay in email response, but we are working diligently to get through them as quickly as possible.

Now for some shipping updates...

  •  CA Shipment: CA shipment is a little over half way delivered as of this morning! Tracking numbers have been updated on the EasyShip platform.
  •  US Shipment: The US shipments are still slowly being delivered. These packages are currently 42% delivered!
  •  UK Shipment: The ETA to the UK port still stands at 2/27. Again, we will update if this changes. 
  •  EU (NL) Shipment: The fulfillment process has been completed. The EU orders are estimated to be dispatched today, 2/16.

A New Shipping Update

Hi all! As promised, here is another shipping update! 

  •  CA shipment: Arrived to the CA warehouse on 2/4. The shipments are currently undergoing warehouse processing.

  •  US Shipment: The US shipments are currently 7.07% delivered. All US orders are slowly being delivered, so don't worry your items are on the way! 

  •  UK shipment: No update yet. The estimated time of arrival to the port is still 2/27. As always, we will update if this changes.

  •  EU (NL) shipment: The shipment has arrived at the port and is currently pending customs clearance and delivery. We will update again when we have more information.

When we launched, we began a collaboration with Hanne Madeleine "Iro" Paine, with the goal of publishing a digital Lang Belta Guidebook for our backers.  You may know Iro....when she's not teaching fans to swear like a multicultural citizen of outer space, she's online as @ItReachesOut, tweeting about language and education and Expanse-themed cocktails, and on Reddit where she moderates the Expanse and Lang Belta communities.  This Guidebook has been a labor of love for Hanne, and it'll be available soon as a digital download for every backer.  In the meantime, we wanted to give you a sneak peek!

Another Shipping and Tracking Update

Hi Everyone!

We know that everyone is anxiously awaiting their deliveries.  We also know that it can be disconcerting when you’ve received an advance shipping notice but still haven’t received your order.  As you know, we’ve partnered with EasyShip for fulfillment and distribution; we asked them to provide a simple guide to the process once the merchandise left their Hong Kong warehouse:

HK WH > Boat > Destination Port > Customs Clearance > Transit to WH > Processing and final mile labeling > Transfer to final mile courier > Final mile courier delivery > Front porch.

Labels are generated right before/during the time that the shipments get to the destination warehouse. But the actual tracking will not be updated until the goods are in the hands of the final mile courier.  Unfortunately, those couriers tend to be slow to pick up at the warehouse, or don’t show up at all and have to be rebooked.  This causes unanticipated delays that we don’t have the power to remedy, and although we’re here to help, please understand that we can only see the same courier status information that you do.

We hope that helps, but feel free to reach out if you need additional information!  Now, for some Shipping Updates…

CA: Arrived to Toronto! woot! Arrival and customs clearance emails will be heading out sometime next week if not sooner!

AU: 99% delivered!

US: Order are currently undergoing warehouse processing and are slowly being delivered. Some couriers are going to be slower than others, depending on your location. If you have not already received a tracking email, expect to receive it by next week. If you don’t receive a tracking email by 2/10, please reach out to [email protected] and we’ll take a look!

UK: As expected, port congestion and delays have resulted in a revised eta, which is now 2/27 to the UK port. Our freight forwarder says that port operations are backlogged now, but we’re hoping that by the time the goods land, things will be back to normal.  Meanwhile, we’ll keep you updated.

EU (NL): The EU shipment has also been delayed a bit, with a new estimated eta of 2/7. We will update once we have more information regarding these shipments.

Now for something…..different

First, here is a quick shipping update before we get into the "something....different" 

  • US: Your merchandise is on the move! You will (if you haven't already) be receiving an email from our shipping partner with your tracking information.
  • EU/UK: The items are currently on the water and are expected to land around February 3rd. Awaiting confirmation on specific dates.
  • CA: Waiting on a confirmation from our shipping partner that the items have landed. We will have an update later in the week with more info on these shipments. 

Now for something…..different. We have been working diligently over the last several months--facing some truly unprecedented global challenges--to deliver the most badass Rocinante imaginable.  As you receive your merchandise and open it up, you will notice your precious cargo is secured in protective foam…

You may also notice that our inner packaging manufacturer decided to add a little bonus by stamping the foam with your ship’s name.  Unfortunately, in their haste it seems like they lost a letter along the way.  Nada excuses, just our sincere apology.  Milowda thank kowmang fo imalowda patience unte understanding (which is probably wrong, too, so feel free to send corrections!)
